Malaysia – Thailand Agreement for Legal Distribution of Cannabis

An Australian company has signed a deal that would allow legal cannabis production in Malaysia and Thailand.
Australian legal cannabis company Roto-Gro International Limited (RGI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malaysian company Rotary Garden Systems.
The deal will allow RGI to legally produce cannabis in Malaysia and Thailand.
“Roto-Gro International Limited is pleased to announce the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with Rotary Garden Systems to enter into formal negotiations to form technology, royalty and crop management agreements for sophisticated legal cannabis cultivation facilities located in Malaysia and Thailand.” The company was officially launched in the Australian Stock Exchange corporate report on Thursday (03/10/19).
Through the agreement, the two companies will work to obtain licenses from the governments of Malaysia and Thailand to grow cannabis. Not only to process, process and sell cannabis, but also to export legally.
A high-tech cultivation facility
The two companies have also decided to build a legal and sophisticated facility for growing cannabis. The facility will be equipped with RotoGro 's patented Rotate Hydroponic Garden systems. The new and sophisticated facility will be the first of its kind in Asia.
This will be the basis for RGI to legally commercialize cannabis in accordance with Asian law, to distribute it worldwide. “We are very excited about this prospect, consolidating ourselves in the (legal) cannabis space in Asia,” said RotoGro CEO Adam Clode.
“The company continues its efforts to provide sustainable revenue from ownership and will collaborate on legal cannabis cultivation to drive shareholder value,” he said.
RGI is a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. In Australia, cannabis use is restricted for medical use and legal in Canberra for personal use.
